According to the Boston Globe, politicians in Massachusetts are looking at a variety of ways to help improve the business climate in the Bay State. Among other things, Gov. Deval Patrick and the leaders in the House and Senate are looking tax credits and loan programs for small businesses, streamlining the more than 30 economic development agencies and creating regional one-stop centers, and freezing unemployment taxes at their current levels.
Maybe a border war will break out on which state can do the most for business this session. GO CONNECTICUT!
