The first step is to cut government spending to stop the bleeding. We then need to see where our money goes and make sure every tax dollar currently paid is efficiently used. As a resident and a business owner who employees over 20 people, I get tired of the entitlements our legislators provide. Is it really necessary to provide such expensive employee benefits to state workers? We all have high deductibles and copays. This is all on the tax payers dime and from what I see with the new legislation…the entitlements will increase and will not end until they achieve their socialistic model and force more businesses to leave the state. If you don’t believe me… look at the Sustinet health care model our leaders are about to push down our throats. Sure lets all have no copays or deductibles and just tripple our taxes. Cut the spending Connecticut.

1. Do not spend more than you make.
2. Workers cannot give themselves raises simply because they have overspent. Government should not increase taxes because it has overspent.
3. Reduce the size of government
4. Re-negotiate union contracts
5. Reduce mandates on businesses
6. Health insurance reform
7. No sustinet
8. No mandate for sick pay

We need to cut government spending and the abuse related to state workers pensions and health care.
Most of us who have pensions and health care from private companies have had to adjust our budgets to accommodate increases in our health care costs and as a result lower monthly pension amounts. The abuse of state workers who pad their income towards the end of their careers in order to get higher pension payments needs to be stopped. They also need to contribute more to their health care coverage costs increases similar to what the rest of us have to absorb, in order to keep taxes down.
