U.S. Senate & House
Democrat Richard Blumenthal won Connecticut’s open U.S. Senate seat. Republican Linda McMahon lost her race for Connecticut’s open U.S. Senate seat. Democrat John Larson retained his U.S. House seat  in the First District. Republican Ann Brickley lost her challenge for the U.S. House seat in the First District.
Democrat Joe Courtney retained the U.S. House seat in the Second District. Republican Janet Peckinpaugh lost her challenge for the U.S. House seat in the Second District. Democrat Rosa DeLauro retained the U.S. House seat  in the Third District. Republican Jerry Labriola lost the U.S.  House seat in the Third District.
Democrat Jim Himes retained the U.S. House seat  in the Fourth District. Republican Dan Debicella lost his challenge for the U.S. House seat in the Fourth District. Democrat Chris Murphy retained his U.S. House seat  in the Fifth District. Republican Sam Caligiuri lost his bid for the U.S.  House seat in the Fifth District.

U.S. Senate: State Attorney General Richard Blumenthal (D) defeated businesswoman Linda McMahon (R).
1st U.S. House District: Retired executive Ann Brickley (R) lost to Representative John Larson (D).
2nd U.S. House District: Rep. Joe Courtney (D) retained the seat over small business owner Janet Peckinpaugh (R).
3rd U.S. House District: Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D) defeated attorney Jerry Labriola (R).
4th U.S. House District: Marketing executive Dan Debicella (R) lost to Representative Jim Himes (D).
5th U.S. House District: Rep. Chris Murphy (D) defeated attorney Sam Caligiuri (R).
